What It Means To Be Acceptable to God

Romans 5:1-8
1. By faith we have been made acceptable to God. And now, because of our Lord Jesus Christ, we live at peace with God.
2.
Christ has also introduced us to God's undeserved kindness on which we take our stand. So we are happy, as we look forward to sharing in the glory of God.
3.
But that's not all! We gladly suffer, because we know that suffering helps us to endure.
4.
And endurance builds character, which gives us a hope
5.
that will never disappoint us. All of this happens because God has given us the Holy Spirit, who fills our hearts with his love.
6.
Christ died for us at a time when we were helpless and sinful.
7.
No one is really willing to die for an honest person, though someone might be willing to die for a truly good person.
8.
But God showed how much he loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful.

Forgiveness

Ephesians 4:32 (if someone had offended you or hurt you)

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Leviticus 19:18

Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.

(I know forgiving someone is the hardest thing to do "especially" if the person who hurt you most is someone you love, someone you cared so much. I've been hurt so many times but I let the Lord take over the anger and pain in my heart and forgive the person who hurt me it took awhile but the Lord helped me to overcome the pain. I don't wanna hold a grudge in my heart coz in the eyes of the Lord it's not right, I just leave everything in God's hands and trust him.

Our Lord Jesus Christ had left us a good testimony that we shouldn't forget; whenever we feel so much pain and anger towards somebody just remember all his sufferings; he never hold a grudge to those people who disrespect & laughed at his kingship, beat him to death & nailed him on the cross. But rather he leave everything in his Father's hands )

Daniel 9:9 (For those who sin against God)

The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him;

(Even we commit sins so many times in our life & yet the Lord is still merciful & loving to forgive us)

Before you leave my blog please watch this video and be amazed by the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Numbers 14:18

The LORD is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation.'

Money is the root of all evil

1 Timothy 6:6-10

6
Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth.

7
After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it.

8
So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content.

9 But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction.

10 For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.

The Great Faith of God's People

Hebrews 11:1-6

1 Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we cannot see.

2
It was their faith that made our ancestors pleasing to God.

3 Because of our faith, we know that the world was made at God's command. We also know that what can be seen was made out of what cannot be seen.

4 Because Abel had faith, he offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. God was pleased with him and his gift, and even though Abel is now dead, his faith still speaks for him.

5 Enoch had faith and did not die. He pleased God, and God took him up to heaven. That's why his body was never found.

6 But without faith no one can please God. We must believe that God is real and that he rewards everyone who searches for him.

Proverbs 2:1-22

Moral Benefits of Wisdom
1 My son, if you accept my words
and store up my commands within you,

2 turning your ear to wisdom
and applying your heart to understanding,

3 and if you call out for insight
and cry aloud for understanding,

4 and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,

5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD
and find the knowledge of God.

6 For the LORD gives wisdom,
and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

7 He holds victory in store for the upright,
he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,

8 for he guards the course of the just
and protects the way of his faithful ones.

9 Then you will understand what is right and just
and fair—every good path.

10 For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.

11 Discretion will protect you,
and understanding will guard you.

12 Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men,
from men whose words are perverse,

13 who leave the straight paths
to walk in dark ways,

14 who delight in doing wrong
and rejoice in the perverseness of evil,

15 whose paths are crooked
and who are devious in their ways.

16 It will save you also from the adulteress,
from the wayward wife with her seductive words,

17 who has left the partner of her youth
and ignored the covenant she made before God. [a]

18 For her house leads down to death
and her paths to the spirits of the dead.

19 None who go to her return
or attain the paths of life.

20 Thus you will walk in the ways of good men
and keep to the paths of the righteous.

21 For the upright will live in the land,
and the blameless will remain in it;

22 but the wicked will be cut off from the land,
and the unfaithful will be torn from it.
